The Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation (ASERF) is seeking competitive grant applications for the following grant opportunity:

Award Announcement Date: During the Aesthetic Meeting 2009

Research projects should be EVIDENCE BASED MEDICINE OUTCOME STUDIES specific to women’s issues, including but not limited to: breast surgeries, Botulinum Toxins, fillers (collagen, HA’s etc.) and cosmeceuticals.
Recipients must be able submit written semi annual research updates to receive earmarked funding. All accepted research will be required to present at the ASAPS/ ASERF Innovative technology luncheon, as well as guarantee ASERF the first right to publish research outcomes in various plastic surgery publications (The Aesthetic Surgery Journal).

HOW TO APPLY

The Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation (ASERF) funds important research that directly impacts the clinical practice of aesthetic surgery. Individuals may apply for a research grant by providing a proposal to ASERF according to guidelines outlined in the ASERF Research Grant Application. ASERF is particularly committed to funding directed research on topics of immediate significance to aesthetic surgery practice, as determined by its Clinical Needs Task Force. Ideas for directed research topics may be submitted to the Task Force by any ASERF member or interested person.
